As a child with a Brownie box camera I had a lot of fun making snapshots of my family, childhood friends and other interesting things that passed in front of my camera.  As I grew older, my budding hobby turned into a passion for photography.  By the time I was 23 I had photographed my first wedding.  All during the 70's I photographed weddings and ventured into the world of portrait photography.  I opened a Photography studio in Rochester, Minnesota during the Fall of 1981 and developed it into a very successful wedding and portrait studio.  We sold the studio in 1998 and relocated to Corinth, Texas and opened Bee Creative Photography in late 1998.

I enjoy wedding photography because it challenges a photographer like no other type of photography.  It encompasses the full spectrum of photography not only in physical human form, but also human emotions.

On the technical side, I believe a good wedding photographer must be versed in portrait, group and child photography, both in the studio and on location.  All of this, plus traditional candid and photojournalistic styles of photography are requirements of the wedding photographer.

On the emotional side, within a few moments the lives of two people are meshed into one for the rest of their lives.  Love, excitement, laughter and tears are all experienced within this relatively brief time frame.  It is through the photographer's eye that these elements come together into a comprehensive story of your wedding day.

I do not shoot mass production weddings.  I photograph 4 weddings a month.  This gives me time to make each wedding and individually crafted personal work of art and to keep up with new developments in wedding and portrait photography.

I believe good wedding portraits start with an engagement session.  This is why I've included an engagement session in most of my wedding packages.  I don't charge extra for these sittings.  This gives all of us a chance to talk and build rapport.  During the engagement session I get to catch a glimpse of your personalities and you of mine.  I use this when I scout out the wedding location.   All of this helps me with ideas that I think will work for you.  This is one of those details I hope you will see in my work.

Your satisfaction starts with choosing the right photographer.  The Denton - Dallas - Ft. Worth area has many good photographers.  I want you to pick your wedding photographer wisely, and the one that reflects you as a couple not just your pocketbook.

I Look Forward To Meeting You.

       Sincerely,

       Roger Bee
